Recent deaths of Constantinos, sparks gun control controversy.

Just  a few hours, of the recent deaths of the Constantino’s, as the world morns and shares of a tragedy,  many are still having issues dealing with no doubt a great loss.

Among these types of deaths, when there are deaths associated with guns, it brings out a great diversity and a mixed audience as well.

The United States has 88.8 guns per 100 people, or about 270,000,000 guns, which is the highest total and per capita number in the world. 22% of Americans own one or more guns (35% of men and 12% of women). America’s pervasive gun culture stems in part from its colonial history, revolutionary roots, frontier expansion, and perhaps most importantly, the Second Amendment, which states: “A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

Proponents of more gun control laws state that the Second Amendment was intended for militias; that deadly, senseless, and costly gun violence would be reduced; and that a majority of Americans, including gun owners, support new gun restrictions.

Opponents say that the Second Amendment protects an individual’s right to own guns; that guns are needed for self-defense from threats ranging from local criminals to foreign invaders; and that gun ownership deters crime rather than causes more crime.

The post I saw earlier, to be honest, sort of angered me. “They were saying because someone had a gun, that brutal murder or the brutal murders of 2 people took place. I want to so set the record straight. First of all Debby was not responsible for any murders, it was the evil villain Mark, who took his life and Debby’s, as well as one other man. James Andersen.

So there is a great question, should we be regulated and not be able to have guns? isn’t it true guns don’t kill people, people do? “There is always, one true point for the rights towards owning fire arms.Criminals are criminals and will always have guns, you can’t stop that, so by taking others guns,we as a society can not protect ourselves or others?

I wished to propose, that perhaps the criminal justice system failed the Constantino’s.There was no doubt a double slated blade, that all the Constantino’s were somewhat violent, as was reported in more then 14 news articles and live news segments.

If the legal system had kept them incarcerated, instead of releasing them on 30, and 40,thousand dollar bonds, they would all be alive today. So did the justice department fail?

In repeated arguments from watchdog groups around the country, they have always said, what good does it do if  the criminals are locked up, because the judges let them out? in this case it’s quite evident.

What seems a factor in dealing with domestic abuse, the law is short of either caring, or knowing how to spot a potential incident, like what happened with the Constantino’s.

  1. Let us at least keep guns out of the hands of nutcases who believe ghosts talk to them on their digital recorders

  2. What I have come to understand is that we will never be able to get rid of all the guns. If someone wishes to harm someone they will steal a gun usually, and if they do not have a gun they can easily get a kitchen knife… I just never understood how so many people believe stricter gun laws will make a big change in deaths caused by guns, I believe the opposite will happen, I believe it will make harder for good people to have a gun. Making it harder to stop someone that does have one from shooting others, as in many cases more lives would have been taken if someone there did not shot the crazy person going out to end innocent lives. I know not everyone agrees with me, but I try to think of realistic ways that tighter gun laws would actually be able to stop criminals from obtaining a gun, or defaulting to another method.
