Former WWF superstar “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka — a member of the WWE Hall of Fame — will be charged with murdering his girlfriend in an incident that happened 32 YEARS AGO.\
WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka is facing charges of third-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter stemming from the 1983 death of his girlfriend, Nancy Argentino.
Gamiz’s report noted Martin called on a grand jury to reinvestigate the case after it went cold in June 1983, though Argentino’s family “won a $500,000 wrongful death case against Snuka by default” that he never paid after claiming “he was broke and couldn’t afford a legal defense.”
According to Manuel Gamiz Jr. of the Morning Call, Lehigh County District Attorney Jim Martin reopened the case following an investigative report the Morning Call published in 2013 that contained a previously unseen autopsy from Argentino’s death. The autopsy called it a homicide:
An autopsy determined she died of traumatic brain injuries and she suffered more than two dozen cuts and bruises — a possible sign of “mate abuse” — on her head, ear, chin, arms, hands, back, buttocks, legs and feet.
There is nothing more unspeakable, then the evils that men do.You may often wonder, what can drive another human being to commit such acts of said violence? have they sold out for fame, money and fortune? is the ultimate cost, their own lives at some point? or the lives of others?
Here’s how it works. When faced with a small easy morally-neutral decision, we don’t have any problem making it. But, then we’re faced with another decision that’s only slightly immoral but still perfectly understandable. We may feel a little conflicted with it, but it’s easy to justify to ourselves. Then later we’re faced with another decision that is a little less justifiable. But, because we’ve already justified the last decision, it’s easy to justify this one because it’s not much worse.
The devil is very aware of this weakness of ours and uses it to his benefit. And no one is exempt. There’s not one person alive that the devil has not successfully used this technique on. That includes me, and it includes you.
According to her autopsy report, recently obtained by The Morning Call — Argentino suffered multiple cuts and contusions on her entire body. The autopsy says Argentino died of traumatic brain injuries consistent with a moving head striking a stationary object.
The investigation was re-opened after continuous pressure from Argentino’s family.
Snuka has already been arrested — he was taken into custody at his home in NJ earlier today. He’s been booked. Bail has been set at $100,000.
