The Ami Bruni Story.

What is it with paranormal celebrities? they reach the spotlight, but if any controversy comes, they head it off with blank threats and then act a victim, we have all seen this over the years.

In a recent developing post on the ex paranormal star from Ghost Hunters, Ami Bruni had plenty to say about the Paranormal Examiner john Albrecht. It seems to us that she is somewhat disgruntled over the said mentioning of her untimely departure from Ghost Hunters. Ami Bruni may also be upset, with the mentioning of her roll in a r rated movie. There were claims made, that stated the movie poked fun at obese or overly heavy people?

The movie, that perhaps Ami Bruni did not want folks to see? it only reached 200 views on you tube?: hell even my sock puppet videos see that many hits?

This is a screenshot of what also transpired, between Ami Bruni and also Jason Hawes of Ghost Hunters.

Syfy’s original series “Ghost Hunters” is returning for its tenth season this summer. Former cast member Amy Bruni will not be coming back to the series and according to a post on her Facebook page yesterday, she is still upset about her departure from the show.

Amy Bruni is best known for appearing on Syfy’s hit series “Ghost Hunters” on seasons four through nine. She was a regular cast member on the show for six years and appeared on 115 episodes from October 29, 2008 to October 29, 2014. Bruni was allegedly fired from the show over a year ago.

Bruni claimed that she left the show willingly. She has made several comments to her followers on Facebook regarding her departure insisting that she wasn’t fired. Most fans of the show could care less but she won’t let the issue go.

“We were not fired. We were not let go – we opted to move on. This was 100% our decision that we came to after some discussion with the production company,” Bruni said right after her departure from the series.

“Some claim that they left the show ‘Ghost Hunters’. Okay lol, Grant Wilson can 100% say it honestly. He is like a brother to me and many other TAPS members. That will never change. He got into this field for real reasons and that always showed. It was never about money, fame, or how much airtime he got. He will always have our respect,” “Ghost Hunters” star Jason Hawes said on his blog on his website in November.

Ever since Bruni was released from “Ghost Hunters” it seems like she is doing anything that she can to remain in the infrared spotlight. But there is one thing that she doesn’t want her fans to know about. Bruni is embarrassed of an R-rated movie that she starred in before she was a ghost hunter. The movie might be the reason why she was let go from the series.

“Better Than Crazy” is a film produced by Mike Restaino and it follows four cousins and their spouses during a weekend of partying. The cousins get together after their aunt died to reminisce about her life and the journey they have taken since childhood. The film stars Amy Bruni, Aaron Daley, Nick Leonti, Deborah O’Brien, Shawn Romias and Katherine Fullenlove. Bruni plays the role of Caroline.

In a four-minute preview for the film, Bruni gets made fun of for her weight by the rest of the cast. During the clip she can be seen getting drunk, getting high, and talking about streaking in the nude for corn-dogs. The entire preview is filled with weight-based comments about fat people.

“Those are the days of obese Caroline. But I really was fat but not now cause I’m not anymore, right? I’m so glad I got to wear black today, it’s really slimming,” Bruni says in the movie as Caroline. “I’m sick of all this extra weight that I’ve put on but I can’t find the strength to keep it off for very long,” Bruni sings in the film.

Examiner reached about to Bruni on October 5 about the film but she didn’t want to talk about it. The following day she posted a message on Facebook and IMDB to her fans about the film warning them not to watch it. She claimed that the film was made prior to her appearing on “Ghost Hunters” and that it was filmed eight years ago.

According to IMDB, the film was originally supposed to be released on October 21, 2014. There is a trailer teaser on Restaino’s YouTube page and on the distributor’s website.

“Again, if you see an article saying that Adam and I were fired. I point you in the direction of my attorney,” Bruni said on her Facebook page yesterday regarding reporter John Albrecht’s Examiner articles. “I’d pursue this in court, but it just seems like a waste of my hard earned $$$. You all know the truth, we’ve gone on record with the truth – and again, since the blogger writing it seems to completely disregard the truth, I’d not trust anything from that source. We’ve tried to contact him many times and he just ignores us – because me quitting clearly isn’t a juicy enough story. LOL PS. Just report the content as being false if you do happen upon it,” she said.

Bruni urged her fans to report Albrecht, calling him a liar, hoping they would attack him. She also insulted the reporter numerous times on her Facebook page and has been doing so for months.

“He writes for a web site that pays per click – hence his incentive to make things up. I don’t want to put any money in his pocket,” Bruni said about Albrecht. “Maybe he is homophobic? We’re pretty much the nicest people ever, so it makes no sense,” she said, insulting him.

Hawes posted one of Albrecht’s articles on his Facebook page shortly after Bruni’s post and had this to say in the comment section:Please understand people can post and say whatever they want. But, When 2 people have a different story then 60 people?!?! Amy and Adam remember things very differently then Ghost Hunters, Syfy and Pilgrim Films remember it. That’s fine. There’s been no need to justify our actions with posting all over in hopes of looking good. They want to claim the left, Okay. lol. It’s been 2 years since they were removed and it seems a dead subject now. I still consider them friends and We all wish them the best and always will.

First off the entire article written, was written and quoted from Jason Hawes of Ghost adventures. to critically attack the writer is shameful at best. The actual argument has to be between Ami Bruni and her ex -boss Jason, not some reporter reporting the said dispute.

I have known John Albrecht for some time, we know his reporting is been sound and the work as of lately, the said reporting that rocked the small town of Tombstone Arizona.

The following is a screenshot of Ami Bruni attacking the said journalist for his article on her.

it seems ok, for Ami Bruni to attack john Albrecht, but then mentions a lawyer when someone writes said article on her?

Amy Bruni is no saint either, she has been trying to gain support on her Facebook page. The following comments are her own comments on her Facebook page.

  • Emily Summers Leabch And, frankly, why is it anyone’s business but yours why you left? It isn’t. You made a decision for your family and your professional lives. People do that every single day and being in the public spotlight should not mean you decisions have to be madSee More
    • Amy Bruni Honestly, I really value the message that I can send to other Moms. That I pursued a business and working from home and I made it all work. It’s clearly not for everyone, but leaving a secure paycheck was a big decision and I don’t like seeing it skewed by someone who has zero knowledge of the situation.
      • Robert Michael Parker I totally agree with You. Its none of anyones busness what she does with her life. So the person whos doing this to her should go get a life .
      • Kimber Leigh Countryman You made a brave move, and made it work. It’s just silly for people to still be so nosey about it. Your life. Your choices. End of story. I am personally trying to figure out how to work from home – until my little one goes to school at least. Possibly longer if it works for our family. You figured it out already for what you want to do. Kudos. ♡

      • Judie Van Vorce Gottfried as long as this person knows they can ”rattle your cage….” they will. Those of us who have been following Ghost Hunters and their investigators know the truth is yours to know. So sorry an incident like this happens. I’ve seen it before and will again but, in the meantime, we’ve got your “6.”

Iam sure there will be more to follow here.

  1. I really don’t care if this woman was fired or not, I don’t think John posts false stories, I’ve been reading his articles a few years now. However he’s paid is between him and the Examiner, If he’s paid per click, so what! You can’t say the guy doesn’t do his job, he’s always on something.
I don’t watch Ghost Hunters, to me it’s a TV series out there making money for the network and to give them good, ratings, it’s for entertainment purposes, you gotta wonder how much of it is just all bullshit. The house Zak purchased is just going to end up being made into a movie??? C’mon now, did any of that stuff really happen at all or just more bullshit?
If a investigator gets real evidence of the afterlife, something science can get their hands on to be documented as truth, sure let them make some money for a job well done for all people to know what they discovered is absolute truth!
Let’s face it, many people have had a paranormal incident happen to them, they weren’t looking for it to happen, so how do you explain it? All you have is their story, I bet most don’t even think about their cameras on their phones, hell they’re scared shirtless when it happens, lol.

  4. You know ,who cares? Amy b.was an investigator on an entertainment show.I look at her as I do all other folks. Its not who you are, where you been, what you have but WHO you are, how you treat OTHERS, what you have DONE.A celebrity is a person who gains money by entertaining others. They would be meaningless and insignificant without the ” little people” Very much like “politicians” It’s their job to get you to like them because without that they don’t exist .

  5. She is an entertainer on a “paranormal” show. That’s it. After all is said and done, she put the production company and everyone at risk with her pregnancy. Hey, it’s their issue and frankly, I really don’t give a darn about someone who doesn’t mean a thing to the paranormal community.
